ABOUT ME

I am self-employed. My husband and I operate a small family dairy farm in Wisconsin.  This keeps us quite busy, so there is not a lot of time for socializing. We do get together with friends and family from time to time for picnics and potlucks, though. When I am not busy with farming chores, I like to make things; whether it be out of wood, metal or soft things like fabric, yarn or food.  I like to do different kinds of crafts in my spare time but have to be in the mood for them. I like to have a nice garden/landscape but must confess most of it is in God's hands, for which I thank Him. Mostly, though, as my family will tell you I like to watch lots of TV! I especially like the forensic type CSI shows, but I do watch a variety of dramas and comedy as well. I enjoy most types of music except for ones with lyrics that are demeaning to women or even people in general. I mostly read self-help reference types books; however, I used to read a lot of romance/mystery novels, but that was before the internet, so that’s where I do most of my reading now.
