CURRENT PROJECT
So, I'm working on a plantable stand to put my Strawberry Jar on. It will be made out of a 15 gallon plastic drum and 2 1/2 gallon plastic pails. It may not work out, but if it's a failure, I'll show it anyhow. Speaking of which, I'd better get back to it before it's definitely too late to plant my strawberries.
Contest Update
Sadly, I did not win anything in the Instuctables Garden Contest. Thank-you to everybody who voted for me, though. In the voting Phase I ended up 4th out of 96, but the ultimate judging was done by their staff, I believe, and the voting only guaranteed me a place in the final 20, (the top 10 voted for got in as well as 10 others they decided on) Oh, well, it was a learning experience and I can only grow from here.

THE COLOSSAL POTATO TOWER VENTURE

So, I got this idea for a Potato Skyscraper/Tower here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rGWZAIjsTU As he didn't give any real instructions, I'm attempting this experiment on my own. The idea is that the plants will grow out the sides and top of the tower and the whole thing will be green. In the fall, when the plants die back, the whole inside is supposed to be full of potatoes. We shall see.
